I struggled with being a parent for at least a good four years. It was a question of finding a balance between what they need and what I need. Realizing I’m not supermom was a good step in the right direction. Realizing there are other moms just like me out there, was another. Taking the compliments and words of love from my kids as the only reassurance I really need that My efforts are noticed, also a calming affect. Accepting help from others!!! Soooo important. Communicating all the feels and needs with my spouse so they understand my behavior and needs better? CRUCIAL!!
